Good morning – or afternoon depending how hard you partied yesterday. Hope you had your fill of grilled treats and good ‘ole American craft beers. And as fun as yesterday was, we all know hangovers are the worst. But a little hair of the dog can go a long way. So if you’re not working today – bottoms up, champ!
I personally enjoy a solid stout as a morning after remedy. A traditional Guinness is good, but I’m also fond of Founder’s Breakfast Stout and Great Divide’ Yeti Stout. And on special occasions – Dark Lord.
But if you’re not feeling any of those, just yourself a nice Bloody Mary or copious amounts of coffee (with Bailey’s of course).
If stouts aren’t your thing, look for a good session beer. If you’re not familiar with the term, these are beers that have a lower alcohol content, so you can drink more of them over a long period of time and not get as messed up as if you were pounding 7% IPAs all day long. They should help take the ache out of your head and not go too overboard. Enjoy and feel better soon – USA!
