Good morning – or afternoon depending how hard you partied yesterday. And as fun as yesterday was, we all know hangovers are the worst. But a little hair of the dog can go a long way. So if you’re not working today – bottoms up, champ!
I personally enjoy a solid stout as a morning after remedy. A traditional Guinness is good, but I’m also fond of Founder’s Breakfast Stout and Great Divide’ Yeti Stout. And on special occasions – Dark Lord.
But if you’re not feeling any of those, just yourself a nice Bloody Mary or copious amounts of coffee (with Bailey’s of course).
If stouts aren’t your thing, look for a good session beer. If you’re not familiar with the term, these are beers that have a lower alcohol content, so you can drink more of them over a long period of time and not get as messed up as if you were pounding 7% IPAs all day long. They should help take the ache out of your head and not go too overboard. Enjoy and feel better soon – USA!
